Corale 2 Rug

Corale is a tufted woollen rug, which stands out for its dramatic and organic look: it is reminiscent of coral waving gently on a reef.

Corale features a highly original ‘filled’ tufted construction, which is created by surrounding a combination of felted and coloured wool with another layer of coloured wool and then felting them together. This gives the rug a beautifully rich expression.

Intriguingly, Corale’s colourways mix colours in three separate ways, to vibrant and playful effect. Some blend two core colours with a unicoloured outer tone, others combine three core colours with a unicoloured outer tone and the rest fuse three core tones with three melange outer tones. Importantly, the sense of softness the rug projects is increased by using different core colours.
